Self Care

Lets consider mindfulness as a form of self care. Being present in the moment without judgement. Being intentional with acts of selfcare.

I have been thinking about how mindfulness adds to self care. Slowing down and being intentional and in the moment is so good for you. What a gift to see and experience the “now” of things. Listening to your body requires you to tune into your own needs. It is not selfish to listen, reflect, and meet those needs.

Some thoughts to reflect on mindfully to take care of yourself……..

What do I need right now to feel good?

What can I tune into with my senses? What do I see- hear- feel- taste- smell?

How am I doing mentally? How am I doing physically? How am I doing emotionally?

Affirmations to reflect and reframe……..

* Self care isn't selfish

* I allow myself to take care of me

* I am worthy of taking care of me

* Self care is an act of love

* Being in the now allows me to listen to my body

* I am allowed to take care of me

* I can take care of myself AND show up for others

* I am more present and connected when I take care of me

* My capacity increases when I take care of me

This week may you lean into mindfulness as the gateway to self care. May you discover intentional ways to take care of yourself and enjoy some mindful moments.

Blessings, Jennifer
